Privacy Policy

Notice how you didn't have to kill a cookie banner when you arrived? Here is the breakdown of how this site respects your digital personal space.

1. No Tracking Cookies

I do not use Google Analytics, any integration like Google Maps or Google Fonts (fun fact: did you know that Google fonts follow you around the internet?), Facebook Pixels or LinkedIn Insight Tags. This means I do not drop cookies on your device at all.

2. Plausible.io

Plausible is a privacy-focused, GDPR compliant analytics tool.

  • It does not use cookies.
  • It does not collect personal data.
  • It does not track you across devices.
  • It creates a random string for a single day to count unique visitors, but it cannot identify you specifically.

This means I see how many people visit the site and which pages they look at but I have no idea if it was you or my mother-in-law.

3. I only see the data that you voluntarily give me through my contact form or via email

  • If you send me an email, I have your email address.
  • If you call me, I see your phone number.
  • If you book a call via Calendly, you provide your details there.

I use this date for the sole purpose of replying to you. I don’t build email lists to spam you with newsletters about "annual plans with a 50% discount", I don’t sell your contact info to third parties.

4. Third-Party Services

This site is hosted on Webflow.

  • Webflow uses a CDN (Content Delivery Network) to make the site load fast.
  • Webflow logs basic server data (like your IP address) for security purposes (to prevent DDoS attacks). This is standard for every website on earth and is considered a "Legitimate Interest" under GDPR.

5. Your Rights (GDPR)

You have the right to ask me what data I have on you (answer: probably our email thread). You have the right to ask me to delete it.

If you want to exercise these rights, or just want to say hi, email me at: ben@benlocsei.design
